Associate Membership Application – N/A
Senior Membership Applications – Ping still needs to re-apply and pay. Was approved in previous meeting.
Governance Report –

Government Committee –
- N/A
Content Sourcing –
- Reaching back out to Breezeline (they are on hold right now with their network)
- StarLink is interested in connecting – they want to connect in Columbus and discussing coming to Cologix. NE Ohio is coming online as well
- North Coast Wireless – trying to figure out how to connect. They are getting some BEAD money
- South Central Power is interested in learning more about IX (may be coming to Cologix). Call set up with Aaron and Doug for October 3rd
Marketing Committee –
- Chris Tovar has to step away from leading the committee. He has too much going on with Bresco to give the time it needs. We really appreciate all the work he has done and the expertise he has given! Alex Campos with Linear 1 will step in and take over the committee.
- Scheduling HH in NE Ohio soon as well as one in Columbus again.
- A Press Release needs to be done around the meeting we had today with Peter Voderberg
Technical Committee –
- Newly provisioned members:
- PingIT – need to resubmit new form
- FirstComm 2nd 10G port and conversion to LAG – waiting for Zayo link on their side
- LightSpeed (LSTI) – to check out (no light yet) – missing in IXP Manager
CTO Report –
- High-priority items:
- Reaching out to Netskrt – their cache is not used much but they take space/power, so Josh is reaching out to see if we need to do something from tech perspective to make this more useful to our members, or if we should be removing it to free up space for other hardware
- Advertising /32 anycast route so probably everyone is filtering it
- Microsoft Cache hit hard – we need new hardware
- US Signal needs to be contacted, they use a lot
- Need a list of all spend so I can understand the budget we actually have
- Forms for clients now work
- Other items:
- Adam K has been working on a lot of cleanup, standardization and automation (and Cal Kane also worked on some automation we may end up using). Cleanup continues.
- Cologix Zoo Event – Ohio IX can provide some materials or such to put on CP booth
- Petar will reach out to Breezeline to see if they want to connect to the IX
- Compcast @ H5, COX in CLE?
- Netflix upgrading cache (2x100G)
- Domains moved from Google/SquareSpace to CloudFlare
- Still need to get access to billing for Google Workspace / Email
- Label Printer purchased
- We have clients hitting limits, still need to reach out
- IXP Manager upgrade still pending, now that things are a bit more calmed down – we will schedule this
- Need to upgrade servicer which will be about $10,000
